Instructions for proper venting of a system.
- Venting the boiler alone is not enough to get rid of air from the central heating system and the coil of the domestic hot water cylinder.
- In central heating systems, air should be removed repeatedly by venting individual radiators; in underfloor heating systems, it is necessary to perform venting through vents installed in the system and in manifold cabinets. This type of venting should be carried out repeatedly until the air is completely removed.
- For central heating, a boiler must be started at the minimum boiler load (minimum service mode) or its output should be reduced using the controller’s parameter for central heating.
- To remove air from the coil of the domestic hot water cylinder, it is necessary to turn off the gas supply, switch the boiler to hot water heating, and repeat this procedure several times.
- For water heating, a boiler must be started at the minimum load by reducing its output using the controller’s parameter for water heating.
- While performing the actions described above, the boiler heat exchanger must additionally be vented according to the descriptions provided in the manual.
- It is mandatory to leave the plug on the vent installed in the water pump of the boiler unscrewed during the entire service life of the boiler.
- Only properly performed venting of the central heating system, the coil of the domestic hot water cylinder, and the heat exchanger of the boiler guarantees a long and reliable operation of the boiler.
Once you are sure that the air has been completely removed from the systems, you can set the output parameters for central heating and hot water to values tailored to the customer’s needs.
