BASKET STRAINER
The FMK basket strainer is designed to capture solid pollutants carried by water in central heating installations and heating networks. Their use allows for the proper operation of heat exchangers, pumps, boilers and other system devices, preventing the deposition of contaminants that remain in the filter basket and are easy to remove. Purification of the medium stream is a process of mechanical separation of solid particles (e.g. gravel, particles originating from pipe corrosion) in the filter element, which is a removable basket. The basket is made of perforated stainless steel and a 500 μm filter mesh.
The body of the basket strainer is made of powder-coated steel. Product is equipped with a manual air vent and a drain valve. Additionally, to ensure the capture of ferromagnetic impurities, the device can be equipped with a magnetic insert.
